The main idea of the project is to
create a school that is also a point
of aggregation for both children
and adults. This is done arranging
common spaces (for instance the gym)
in such a way that the use of these
facilities is flexible during the
whole day. The shape of the
building is conceived to maximize
natural light; all classrooms have a
fully glazed side and windows
placed on opposite sides to create
air flow and avoiding over heating.
The four wings of the school define
a central enclosed playground,
safe centre of all social activities.
